General Guesthouse Information
Standard check-in time is between 10 AM and 2 PM
Check-out at 10 AM.
A valid European ID or passport is mandatory to proceed with your check-in.
City tax is 4 EUR per person per night.
No, we have no reception, we are a fully self serviced establischment. However there is always someone around between 10 AM and 2 PM.
English, Dutch, French and Arabic.
Housekeeping services are available for stays longer than 3 days.
Stay connected during your stay with 40MB bandwidth internet service provided throughout our guestrooms and public areas. Please log-in with your username and password provided at check-in.
We honor requests for early check-in and late check-out, but availability is subject to confirmation and availability. We extend this privilege to guests who book directly with us. We delight in offering a complimentary late check-out until 11 PM. Please note that applicable charges may apply for succeeding hours.
Yes, we do offer luggage storage free of charge on your check-in and check-out days. La Cle Guesthouse reserves to right to deny storage of suspicious items.
We are not equipped with elevators
As much as we love pets, unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate them in our rooms or any of our common areas. We can refer you to the local pet house, while you choose to stay with us.
Yes, however parking space is subject to availability and charges are applicable.
Please note that additional charges are applicable for linen stains and other cleaning or damages caused intentionally or unintentionally. Penalties vary depending on the extent and severity of the damage. These include, but are not limited to, cleaning, repair, or replacement charges for stained walls, vomit, blood and food stain on linens, and broken furniture and fittings. The exact cost will be determined on a case-by-case basis by the Manager in charge.
Healthier. Happier. Fresher. La Cle Guesthouse is committed to catering to the needs of all guests. A designated smoking area is located on the ground floor for your convenience. However, usage of shisha, cigarettes, vape pens, and e-cigarettes is prohibited in all guest rooms. A fee equivalent 75 euro incident will be charged to your account if a smoking incident occurs in your room during your stay.
Airport transfers to or from Brussels International Airport start from minimum 10 guests per trip.
A great way to enjoy your visit in Bruges is through walking or renting a bicycle. We are happy to help you with that.
Reservations & Cancellations
Yes, but keep in mind that cancellations made less than five (5) days prior to arrival are subject to 100% charge.

Our prices change depending on the rooms we have available at the time. In general, prices rise as the date of your trip approaches, so we recommend that you book your next holidays as soon as possible.
By choosing a NON-REFUNDABLE rate you can benefit from up to 10% discount! The total amount of this reservation must be paid in advance. This rate does not allow changes, modifications or refunds.
We advice you to make a parking reservation. In the case of having no garage boxes left, we will share with you alternative parking options in the neighborhood.
The garage box costs 17.00 EUR per day.
The maximum height is 2,10m.
No, we do not have these facilities. However we can share with you a list of charging pols in the neighbourhood.
No, we avoid charging electric bikes/scooters in the room for safety reasons.
Rooms and Rates
We are sorry, but La Cle Guesthouse rooms are strictly non-smoking. There will be a cleaning fee 75 euro per incidence of smoking. For our guest’s comfort, there are designated smoking areas available at the ground floor, the walled in garden.
- Children under 3 years old are considered babies and do not pay as guests. They stay free-of-charge using a baby cot.
- From 2 years up to 12, they are considered children and pay as such. They stay for € 25 per child per night when using available extra beds.
- From 13 years old they count as an adult and pay the full price. They stay for € 40 per adult per night when using available extra beds.
The number of kids may vary depending on the room type.
Always remember to inform the age of the children when making your reservation. If you need to reserve a crib, please indicate it in your reservation comments or contact the guesthouse directly by phone or email.
In no case may minors (up to 18 years old) stay without the guardianship of an adult.
Yes, but such requests are subject to room availability, applicable charges, and rate difference at the time of check-in.

Yes, we offer extra beds should you require one. These are only available for certain room category and charges apply.
Guests are allowed to visit the room. However, for overnight stays beyond the capacity of each room, there will be an extra person surcharge.

Your rooms are provided with showers, towels and toiletries based on the number of registered occupants. The rooms do not have bathtubs.
The electricity is at 220 volts /60 hertz.
Extra bed set up can be arranged for additional guests upon request. This is applicable for certain room category. Please mail or call us for more assistance.
Induction cookers are not available. We do not allow cooking inside the guesthouse.
Iron and Ironing board are available but not kept in the rooms. Please mail or call us for more assistance.
Yes, a hairdryer is available in the room, together with other toiletries such as toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, lotion and towels.
Your safety is our business. For your security and convenience, we strongly recommend that all valuables be kept in your safe for the duration of your stay. The management shall not be held liable for any loss within the guesthouse.

Our guesthouse has garage boxes available to park your car in. However parking space is subject to availability and charges are applicable.
You can directly drive into the garage and park your car if you do not have too much luggage. Otherwise, we suggest you off load your luggage first.
